Ahmedabad Hotels

Ahmedabad is one of the affluent cities of the country and largest in Gujarat. It is one of the biggestt indigenous industrial destinations in western part India, and has authentically enjoyed trustworthiness as an important base of business and trade. This defination may only describe a little bit about the trade scenario of the city but Ahemedabad is also a favourite tourist spot of many.

The colours of Ahmedabad is in its conventional customs, songs, dance and offcourse in its food. Garbah and Dandiya are among the main attarctions of Gujarat. I personally enjoyed this song and dance. Its colourful, its happening and I am sure you will enjoy it to the fullest. The food there is simply awesome. There is Dhohla, Theple and many other lip-smacking dishes which will leave you amazed for rest of your life. The next thing that you can enjoy is shopping. Buying clothes from this part of India is actually a very good idea because Ahmedabad is well-known for its textile industry.

Now as per my experience I would like to mention about the hotel industry in Ahmedabad. I always believe that the hotels always act as a facsimile to the city, as the first impression is the last impression and the hotels in Ahmedabad is doing pretty well. Hotels here can easily compete with the hotels in the big cities. There are some good deluxe hotels in the city worth mentioning like Le Meridian, Inder Residency, Cama Park Plaza etc. There are even some economy and budgets hotels which I have experienced are Quality Inn Rivera, Hotel Nalanda, Hotel Royal Highness, Ambassador Hotel etc.

One of the foreign tourist from London whom I met in a function there was so overwhenmed with the kind of reception he got at Cama Park Plaza that he cant stop praising. He said, “I stayed here after living in a campsite for 2 weeks while building a school and it seemed like luxury. Friendly staff marble reception, good food buffet and optional restaurant n shops downstairs. The rooms were large. Mine had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, gardens and river. Nice outlook for the city. The shopping was out of this world in individuality lots of little clothes and jewellery shops you get lost for hours round the market. Not a very touristy place. I would stay at the hotel if I came back to Ahmedabad which is unlikely a very good hotel considering the price.”
